Nuts about Futsal is a podcast by Sami Berhane and Dan Pellegrini about the South American sport of futsal. Two teams of five play with a smaller ball with less bounce than a normal football, and the game is all about improvisation and technique as well as ball control and precision passing in tight spaces.

The programme documents Sami and Dan’s experience of playing for the first time, and includes an interview with London-based futsal promoter Ernesto Alvarez, who talks about his childhood relationship with futsal, how he got into promoting the sport and his feelings about where it’s headed.

Reporting, editing and production by Sam Berhane and Dan Pellegrini.
